About Us

Geoffrey Skinner founded Red Gravenstein Press in 1994 with the publication of Change in the Air: A Production of Mystery Brigade - a set of poems masquerading as the newest recording from that seminal jazz/rock/funk/grunge band, Mystery Brigade. As sole proprietor and employee, he has a direct hand in the entire process of book production.

The book publishing arm of Red Gravenstein Arts, the Press focuses on poetry, with occasional broadsides and other publications. The Press is not currently accepting manuscripts, but feel free to make inquiries.
